(1) Transmission structure design
The overall plan is drawn up to determine the structural form of the robot, and the preliminary transmission structure design, part structure design and three-dimensional modeling are carried out accordingly. Designers are required to be familiar with and understand the common structural forms of robots, common transmission principles and transmission structures, types and characteristics of reducers, and have strong structural design capabilities and experience.
(2) Selection of reducer
To the structure of the type of reducer, the meaning of performance parameters have a deep understanding of the reducer selection and calculation check. It is necessary to detect and test the reducer. The content of the detection mainly includes noise, jitter, output torque, torsional stiffness, backlash, repeated positioning accuracy and positioning accuracy. The vibration of the reducer will cause the jitter of the robot end and reduce the trajectory accuracy of the robot. There are many reasons for the vibration of the reducer, among which resonance is a common problem, and robot companies must master the method of suppressing or avoiding resonance.
(3) Motor selection
Must be very understanding of the working characteristics of the motor, and the motor torque, power, inertia calculation and check.
(4) Simulation analysis
The simulation analysis of statics and dynamics is carried out, the selection of motors and reducers is checked, the strength and stiffness of the body parts are checked, the weight of the body is reduced, the working efficiency of the robot is improved, and the cost is reduced. The modal analysis of the three-dimensional model is carried out to calculate the natural frequency, which is helpful for resonance suppression.
(5) Reliability design
The structural design adopts the most simplified design principle. The body cast iron is made of ductile iron with good comprehensive performance, while the aluminum cast is made of casting material with good fluidity and is cast by metal mold. Detailed assembly process instructions shall be provided for assembly, and components and uniaxial tests shall be conducted during assembly. After assembly, there shall be complete machine performance test and durable copying machine test. Improve the protection grade design of the whole machine and the anti-interference ability of the electric cabinet, to apply the use of different working environment.
